Shakespeare,
Bacon, and Secret Societies
Quite
a few Baconians believe that in addition to penning Shakespeare's
works, Bacon was the head of the Rosicrucian
order - or the Order of
the Rosy Cross - a (legendary?) secret society that some investigators
claim is descended from the Templars.
Others
believe that the Rosicrucians - including Bacon/Shakespeare - have
connections with Freemasonry.
