Hello Readers,

I'm working on my next novel... something new and different: a historical adventure set in fifteenth-century Flanders, France, and Portugal. Think of Europe on the verge of the Age of Exploration, but still dreaming on the ideals of medieval chivalry. Beauty, cruelty, and curiosity abound, and my heroes are in the thick of it, exploring new science and astonishing art, dodging dark rumors of witchcraft, and looking to have a hand in the reshaping of the known world.

I'll come back to Kate and Ben eventually, but wanted to try something new first. Or, sort of new: this is a book I've been wanting to write since I finished The Speckled Monster. I'll keep you posted.
