Smallpox

By some scientists' reckoning, smallpox has killed more people than the Bubonic plague and all of the wars of the twentieth century combined.

That makes smallpox the most dangerous disease that humans have ever faced:

· It's highly contagious.

· It's lethal, killing in the realm of 1-in-6 to 1-in-3 of its victims.
